Full club members may keep yachts, cradles, trailers and dinghies on station at the club and on its moorings subject to the appropriate mooring and storage fees. Like other classes of member they also have access to the clubhouse and other sailing facilities.
Members can make use of the various vehicles including our tractors, winches and other equipment at the club to move and maintain their boats. Use of the Maintenance Shed and access to all the tools and workspaces are available for a small additional charge.
Members who have completed an RYA Level 2 dinghy sailing course may hire club dinghies.
Full club membership allows you to become involved in guiding the operation and development of the club either by exercising your voting rights to elect the General Committee & Club Officers or standing for one of those roles in our annual elections. Like all members, full members are expected to abide by club rules and byelaws.
Full membership is subject to an annual membership fee. Anyone aged 18 or over can apply to become a full member of Erith Yacht Club. People under 18 and up to 25 can apply to become youth members and gain accecss to the club without an annual membership fee.
The club has a process that supports people in making their decision to become a club member and introduces prospective members to the club through an optional prospective member phase. This allows people to experience the club properly before committing funds to become a full member.
