Michael Robinson Sailing Trust
Michael Robinson ‘Robbie’ came to Erith Yacht Club just after the war with one of his much beloved Hamble Star Dinghies. He spent much of his free time teaching young people how to sail and maintain these boats.
The Michael Robinson Sailing Trust was set up with a donation from him. It aims to advance the education of children and young people in the art of sailing and maintenance of sailing vessels.
Olympic legacy funding
The investments at EYC in our clubhouse and other facilities are a result of Olympic legacy funding, and we would like to acknowledge the financial assistance of the following-

Royal Yachting Association
We are an affiliate of the RYA. We also deliver some of our courses based on their syllabus and are authorised to bestow qualifications upon completion of some of our training courses.
