Our members have been busy maintaining and updating the equipment on our Safety boats.
They have added two new flare packs to the ridged inflatable ribs we use as the club as Safety Boars in case of an emergency at night.
We have also added a radar reflector so ships travelling up and down the river can see us more easily on their radar.
We’ve also renewed the backup manual pump that inflates the tubs around the ribs and the kill cord which stops the engine when it is removed if the driver falls overboard or otherwise moves away from the helm of the boat.
