What is it?
A weekend of racing and fun in dinghies and yachts.
This year, in addition to the racing, the new π¦π΄ββ οΈ”Erith Fun Committee”π΄ββ οΈπ¦ have been furtively planning the π¦π΄ββ οΈ”Erith Fun Challenge”π΄ββ οΈπ¦ scheduled for Saturday Afternoon. No-one yet knows what this entails, but it should be quite a laugh!
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1st female helm, youngest competitor, 1st beginner helm, as well as a separate ranking for race points adjusted for number of beginners on board.
Who is it open to?
Open here means that any sailor can bring their dinghy/yacht and take part in this regatta – however, this isn’t a try sailing day. Prospective members are more than welcome to take part, and experienced sailors are encouraged to take beginners as crew.
