Byelaw:
General
1.6. Members can stay on their boats for four nights in any calendar month. If members need to stay for a longer period of time, they must get written approval from the General Committee (to include the reason and time frame). They are advised to let others know they are on site for personal and Club security reasons. Under no circumstances can a member remain resident on their boat for longer than one calendar month.
Rationale:
The General Committee want to give the members some guidance on what is acceptable when it comes to staying onboard yachts (in the water/on the Fill) while at EYC. The clubhouse is not an alternative to the cruiser. The other aspects of the byelaw are purely safety ones to ensure that others know members are staying on site in case of emergencies.
